Growing up in the<br />same small town, we followed each other through <strong>college</strong><br /><strong>and health professional school</strong>, sharing adventures and<br />several moves along the way. After college, we <strong>backpacked</strong><br /><strong>through Europe </strong>and both had the privilege of participating<br />in <strong>medical mission trips to Ecuador and Thailand. </strong></p><p>Our love for <strong>trying new things</strong>, experiencing <strong>different</strong><br /><strong>cultures</strong>, and <strong>fostering a passion</strong> for lifelong learning has<br />been the foundation of our relationship. No matter where life<br />takes us, we’ve always believed in <strong>finding the good</strong>,<br /><strong>embracing the moment</strong>, and <strong>making the most</strong> of what we<br />have.</p> </div> </div>

<p><strong>OUR INTERESTS</strong></p><p>We’re a <strong>nature-loving couple</strong> who enjoy camping and exploring<br />the outdoors. Over the years, <strong>we’ve visited many state and</strong><br /><strong>national parks</strong>, and we love traveling whenever we can – whether<br />that’s a big trip abroad or relaxing weekends at our family cabins.<br /><strong>Our experiences with international travel have been some of</strong><br /><strong>our favorites</strong>, and we hope to share that same love of adventure<br />with our future children.</p><p>Keslie enjoys g<strong>ardening</strong>, <strong>working on home projects</strong>, <strong>baking</strong>, and<br /><strong>spending time with her family</strong> – creating cozy, hands-on<br />moments at home. Ryan loves<strong> snowboarding </strong>in the winter and<br /><strong>cheering on Minnesota teams at sporting events</strong>. Whether<br />we’re out in nature, traveling, or enjoying our favorite hobbies, we<br />love spending our time together making memories.</p> </div>

<h2>WHAT LED US TO SURROGACY</h2><p>Our goal was always to start a family once we were settled<br />professionally, and we were surprised when we faced<br /><strong>unexplained infertility</strong>. We went through the full range of<br />fertility treatments,<strong> eventually turning to IVF</strong>. Along the<br />way, we experienced <strong>several miscarriages</strong> and developed<br /><strong>scar tissue after a D&C</strong>, which required additional surgeries<br />to clear.</p><p><strong>We eventually welcomed two wonderful children</strong>, but after a<br /><strong>complicated delivery</strong> with our daughter, Keslie underwent an<br /><strong>emergency hysterectomy</strong> <strong>due to undiagnosed placenta</strong><br /><strong>accreta</strong> – something that came as a compete shock and changed<br />the way we would grow our family. Though this path is different<br />from what we imagined, our dream of adding another child to<br />our family remains unchanged. <strong>We are filled with love, hope,</strong><br /><strong>and deep gratitude as we take this next step toward</strong><br /><strong>surrogacy.</strong></p> </div>

<h2>OUR HOPES AND DREAMS FOR OUR FUTURE CHILD</h2><p>Our hope for a future child is that they<strong><br />grow up surrounded by a strong<br />sense of love and connection</strong>, the<strong><br /></strong>same way we were fortunate to<strong><br /></strong>experience with our own close-knit<strong><br /></strong>family and siblings. We want them to<strong><br />always feel supported</strong> and know<strong><br /></strong>they have a <strong>safe place to return to</strong>,<strong><br /></strong>no matter where life takes them. We<strong><br /></strong>hope they develop a natural curiosity<strong><br /></strong>about the world, an openness to new<strong><br /></strong>ideas and experiences, and develop the<strong><br /></strong>confidence to explore different<strong><br /></strong>perspectives. Most of all, we want them<strong><br /></strong>to always <strong>understand that family is<br />a source of strength, joy, and<br />unconditional love.</strong></p> </div>
