A LITTLE ABOUT ME
I knew I wanted to become a dad ever since I became a teenager. In 2017, I was married at the time but I knew it was going to end, and I decided to create embryos and start the process by myself (as I was already nearing my 40’s). 14 embryos were created after testing and the process took a long time, mostly since I was waiting for my divorce to finalize and save money for surrogacy. When my divorce finally finalized (thank god!), COVID started right there and then! Fertility clinics closed and matching times tripled. Men Having Babies helped me match with a surrogate in 2021, and unfortunately, that was an unsuccessful journey due to her infertility issues. I was really broken at the time but finally pulled myself together to retry and oh boy, I’m glad I did. My second journey with Katie was amazing and we keep in touch still today on a weekly basis. That journey led me to my sweet girl, Leia.
HOW I GOT TO SURROGACY
I can’t do it on my own! I wish I could….And I would hate to think that Leia will grow up alone. She has me, and one grandmother, one aunt, and 4 cousins. I wouldn’t want to think that someday she’s left only with cousins. Even though they are close, it’s not the same as the closeness and special connection of a sibling
HOW I SPEND MY TIME
I import Women’s handbags and clothes from Italy! So I mainly deal with fashion. That should be a nice common ground with most women, I believe (lol)! Other than that, I love to cook, bake, work out, and spend time with Leia. We like to go to the beach, pool, playground, etc!
WHAT AM I MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO
Right now it’s just me and Leia. Leia is very caring, she helps younger kids at her daycare. You can see by the way she plays with her dolls that she is SO ready for a sibling. She will feed her doll, change them, cover them with blankets, and push them in a stroller. It’s really sweet. She is also usedto this being a dual dependable relationship of just me and her and I think it’ll be beneficial to her to see another person joining us! She is very independent but she’s also used to thinking I’m “all hers.”
OUR FAMILY AND ENVIRONMENT
Leia and I have a great supportive environment of friends and family. My mom is very involved as well as my sister, brother-in-law and their four kids. All 4 of them love Leia and love spending time with her while managing her tiktok/IG accounts haha
WHAT I AM HOPING FOR IN A MATCH
Open communication all the way! I would like to hear about everything and be very involved, obviously only to a point that my GC is comfortable with and is comfortable sharing!
I’m hoping to find a surrogate who is comfortable with a base compensation of $40,000-$45,000. I know this is low and I wish I could offer more, I really do.
